Dry Farmed Tomatoes with Basil


Hot sun. Fertile earth. Ripe tomatoes. These organic 'dry-farmed' tomato plants are not irrigated but rather root down deep into the earth for their ground-water, thereby developing a fruit famed for their intense flavor. Happy Girl captures them in jars so you can enjoy them year round. These tomatoes are preserved in large pieces in a light pickle brine with apple cider vinegar which makes them a little tangy.  Use as you would fresh tomatoes or as a base for soups and stews. We also give you permission to eat them straight from the jar. These dry farms are a must for the chef's cupboard and can help the aspiring chef in need of inspiration!
