Demystifying Beans
Beans, beans, beans!  Suzanne loves her beans, especially when they are freshly cooked.  Beans are such a versatile staple in the vegetarian, plant based diet.  Not only are they high in protein, they also contribute valuable vitamins and minerals to our diet.  They are good in so many ways -- for snacking, soups, and bowls.  In this workshop, we will look at a variety of beans and legumes, cook various varieties and send you home with some beans to build some delicious meals at home. Along the way, we will share some cooking tricks to maximize flavor and find the best uses for this budget friendly food.

While we work together in the kitchen, we will share various cooking and prepping techniques that will be handy for you to use at home.  And, as always, you will head home with the bounty that we prepared together that should last you into the week and alleviate the pressures of meal planning!

All participants will receive a packet of recipes from the evening. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you sign up and we will accommodate when possible.

This is going to be a really fun workshop, so register early as it will likely fill up fast!  The workshop will be held at Happy Girl Kitchen Flagship location from 5:30-8:30 pm at 173 Central Ave, Pacific Grove 93950.
