April 30 – The Spring Bowl, Pacific Grove 5:30-8:30pm
Here at Happy Girl, we offer a daily bowl on our menu. The idea of the bowl is based on local and seasonal produce (always organic!) and is our hearty and filling menu option. Join Chef Suzanne as we explore some ideas and create a spring-inspired meal based on the Bowl.
This spring, as we take advantage of the market abundance and create a meal using the freshest produce available from our local farms, we will work together to build a delicious and nutritious meal that is filling, satisfying and balanced. We will discuss the various components in a bowl like grains, proteins and sauces that build a satisfying meal. As always, we will be using the freshest, local, seasonal ingredients available to create a simple, nourishing and delicious meal made from scratch.
While we work together in the kitchen, we will share various cooking and prepping techniques that will be handy for you to use at home. And, as always, you will head home with the bounty that we prepared together that should last you into the week and alleviate the pressures of meal planning!
All participants will receive a packet of recipes from the evening. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you sign up and we will accommodate when possible.
This is going to be a really fun workshop, so register early as it will likely fill up fast! The workshop will be held at Happy Girl Kitchen Flagship location from 5:30-8:30 pm at 173 Central Ave, Pacific Grove 93950.
