In the heart of spring, we’ll take advantage of early-season market abundance to create a meal inspired by fresh greens, tender vegetables, herbs, and the first vibrant offerings from our local farms. Together, we’ll explore the essential elements of a satisfying bowl—grains, proteins, vegetables, and sauces—and how they work in balance to create a complete and nourishing meal. As always, we’ll use the freshest local, seasonal ingredients available, preparing everything from scratch with an emphasis on simplicity and flavor.

We will begin the workshop with a light, warm meal to set the tone and introduce ourselves before heading into the kitchen.  Suzanne has been the chef at Happy Girl for 12 years and has been a farmer’s market shopper and vegetarian for decades.  She is excited to share her knowledge while cooking in the kitchen with you. 

This is going to be a really fun workshop, so register early as they tend to fill up fast!  The workshop will be held at Happy Girl Kitchen Flagship location from 5:30-8:30 pm at 173 Central ave, Pacific Grove 93950.
